Gerard Guillory, M.D.

Gerard L. Guillory, M.D., is a graduate of the Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency training at Richland Memorial Hospital, affiliated with the University of South Carolina Medical College.

Dr. Guillory has been practicing in Aurora since July 1985. As an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, he is actively involved in teaching medical students, resident physicians, and nurse practitioner students. Over the years, Dr. Guillory has fostered an interest in patient education and has authored three books on digestive troubles. Dr. Guillory is board certified in internal medicine.

Jessica Baldovsky, PA-C, graduated with honors from the University of Colorado Physician Assistant Program in Aurora. She is currently working on her master's degree and completing research related to osteoporosis.

Before attending physician-assistant school, Jessica received a Bachelor of Arts degree in kinesiology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She also worked as a medical assistant in dermatology. Her specific interests include adult primary care, women's health, and dermatology.

Nhu Nguyen is a second-generation licensed acupuncturist and traditional Chinese herbalist. She received her training from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine and received five additional years of specialty training under various renowned acupuncturists.

Most people think of acupuncture as a method of pain relief, but acupuncture can treat a variety of conditions. According to the World Health Organization, acupuncture can be effective for more than 40 common disorders. This form of traditional Chinese medicine involves the insertion of fine needles at specific points. The goal of acupuncture is to restore, promote, and maintain good health by helping the body to naturally heal itself.

Acupuncture is very safe and has been practiced for thousands of years.

 

Audrey Boxwell, PhD

Dr. Audrey Boxwell has over thirty years experience in health related fields, including nursing, social work, and over twenty-five years as a dental hygienist.

Dr. Audrey Boxwell has done extensive research on the relationship between the Mind and Body and their role in healing for the past several years. She currently practices psychotherapy utilizing hypnosis and guided imagery as protocols in her practice that specializes in stress-related disorders including migraine headaches, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

 


Debra Baldwin, NP

Debra D. Baldwin, NP-C, is a graduate of The University of Oklahoma, Texas Women’s University School of Nursing, and The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Nursing. Debra is completing a PhD in occupational health nursing at UAB and has been awarded a NIOSH fellowship through the Deep South Center for Occupational Health and Safety.

Debra taught adult and occupational health nurse practitioner students at the University of Alabama at Birmingham for over ten years before moving to Aurora, Colorado in 2009. In addition to serving as a faculty member at the UAB School of Nursing, Debra provided health and wellness services and occupational illness/injury care to City of Birmingham employees which included fire fighters, police officers, and street and sanitation workers. She has also been an occupational health consultant to the U. S. Postal Service for the State of Alabama, has worked in the Burn & Trauma Unit and the Neurosurgery ICU at UAB Hospital, and in many of the ambulatory outpatient clinics at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas.

John obtained his degree in psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1989.  His undergraduate studies included the area of bio-psychology and its relationship to nutrition. He received his formal training from the American Health Science University in Aurora, CO.

John’s practice focuses on educating individuals on the importance & effectiveness of preventative health by means of optimal nutrition, proper exercise, & other healthy lifestyle habits.
